MISSION STATEMENT

Vision

The vision of the SSFPR is to generate a world class body of public policy research focused on the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah and the United Arab Emirates

Mission

The mission of the Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi Foundation for Policy Research (SSFPR) is to:

Develop and foster research collaboration between the Government of Ras Al Khaimah and the international and local research community in order to aid the economic and social development of Ras Al Khaimah and the United Arab Emirates.

Functions of the SSFPR:

Promote and commission research on topics of relevance and interest to the Government of Ras Al Khaimah and the UAE
Disseminate the findings of the research in order to improve economic and social development of RAK and the UAE
Advise the Government of Ras Al Khaimah on ways to turn the research into action
Develop strong relationships with educational institutions both within the UAE and from across the world
Contribute to improving the quality of education at all levels within the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah
