  • Innovation Manager

    Hanadi Mohammed

    Hanadi Mohammed was born in Ras Al Khaimah and has always lived in the emirate. After graduating from Al Kheran Secondary School, Hanadi joined the Al Qasimi Foundation. In her current position, she is responsible for coordinating the Teacher Professional Development Program, the Foundation’s work at the Ras Al Khaimah Correctional Facility, and other student and adult capacity development programs. She spends a good deal of time working with school administrators and principals, Ministry of Education officials, and other stakeholders to promote the work of the Al Qasimi Foundation.

  • Innovation Specialist

    Saqr Al Malki

    Saqr Almalki holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management (BHRM) from UAE University,and he is also a certified HR business partner from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). He began his professional human resources (HR) work with Ras Al Khaimah E-Government Authority (EGA), where he was involved in the translation of the organization’s Employee Handbook. In addition, Saqr has worked with software and technology solutions such as SAP and Sapience HR. He served as the Leader of the SAP Support Team and a multi-projects coordinator in RAK Government, providing intensive business solutions and technical consulting across Government Resources Planning.

    Saqr has served as an HR Officer at the Al Qasimi Foundation, where he led recruitment, immigration, on boarding, and staffing processes for the organization, while currently he is the Innovation Specialist supporting different professional initiatives and projects between the Foundation and stakeholders within Ras Al Khaimah such as government exchange programs, prison programs, and teachers professional developments. He also supports a number of Foundation teaching initiatives and represents the Foundation in various community events and committees.

  • Program Assistant

    Gehad Al Najjar

    Gehad Al Najjar graduated with a bachelor’s degree in English Literature in 1983 from Damascus University, Syria. After graduation, Gehad was appointed as a translator in the Military Studies Centre – Department of Translation during his military service. In 1986, Gehad was certified as a sworn translator by the Syrian Ministry of Justice, and he also started his career as a teacher of English that same year. After five years of teaching in Syria in public schools and the Institute of teachers in his town, he moved to teach in the United Arab Emirates.

    In 2010, Gehad started working as freelance teacher-assistant at the Al Qasimi Foundation. He became a program assistant, in which capacity he supports student and teacher programs, translation, and writing and editing, in late 2017.

  • Innovation Associate

    Jackie Koba Adero

    Jackie Koba Adero is an Innovation Associate at the Foundation who works with the Innovations, Capacity Development, and Research departments. She has more than ten years’ experience in teaching English language to speakers of other languages, and formulating, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating community development projects sponsored by Non-Governmental Organisations. She has spent the last six years working in the UAE as an instructor, head of an English department, and facilitator of in-school teacher professional development workshops.

    Jackie has a post graduate diploma in project planning and management from Makerere University Business School, and a bachelor’s degree in education and literature in English Language from Kyambogo University, both in Uganda. She is passionate about social entrepreneurship and the role formal and informal education plays in youth and women empowerment.
