Community Engagement & Outreach Associate
Holly has spent the last seven years working in the education sector with experience ranging from teaching, teacher professional development, curriculum design, research, community outreach, and advocacy. As a teacher and facilitator, Holly has taught English as a second language, leadership, peace and human rights education, and conflict transformation. She spent over four years teaching international students and worked with vulnerable populations all around the world: from refugees in Liberia, to community leaders, inter-faith women’s groups, and at-risk youth in Kenya, to immigrant and migrant students in the United States.
Holly is passionate about the role education plays in fostering resilient, cohesive, and engaged communities. She received her bachelor’s degree in cultural anthropology from Harvard University and her master’s degree in international education development from Columbia University, where she specialized in education in emergencies.
