21st Century Leadership Institute

Ras Al Khaimah School Principals, Assistant Principals and Education Zone Supervisors are invited to attend this course to become leaders in the use of technology for effective organizational leadership and communication.

The course will introduce participants to online tools, including Google Documents and website creation, which promote effective communication and organization in a digital age. Each workshop will examine one of the International Society for Educational Technology’s National Education Technology Standards for Administrators (ISTE NETS*A). The standards address topics such as how to foster a successful learning culture in the digital age, responsible digital citizenship and how to systematically and continuously improve an organization using technology. All topics will be illustrated with educational case studies of best practice from around the globe.

All workshops will take place at the Al Qasimi Foundation, 4th Floor of the RAK GAS Building (opposite the city centre Hilton Hotel) on the following dates:

N.B: To be eligible to participate in this course applicants MUST be School Managers or Education Zone Supervisors and available to attend all six of the course workshops, including the one-day intensive workshop on Saturday 11 February.
