Classroom Management for 21st Century Schools

All Teachers, School Principals, Assistant Principals and Education Zone Supervisors in Ras Al Khaimah are invited to participate in this Classroom management course.

The course aims to provide a safe and friendly forum in which teachers can share the challenges of managing their classrooms and their examples of good practise and management tips. Over the course of five workshops participants will have an opportunity to reflect on:

  • The classroom as a social and learning environment
  • The purpose and effectiveness of classroom rules and procedures
  • Non-verbal communication and body language
  • Behaviour management and how to write a behaviour policy
  • The role of parents in Ras Al Khaimah’s schools

The course will take place at the Al Qasimi Foundation, 4th Floor of the RAK GAS Building (opposite the city centre Hilton Hotel) between 4:15pm and 7:15pm on the following dates:
