    Overview

The Al Qasimi Foundation is invested in the artistic and cultural development of Ras Al Khaimah and the United Arab Emirates. The Foundation cultivates grassroots artistic collaborations and expression by convening Ras Al Khaimah’s creative community through the annual Festival and Studio and Gallery space. We also provide funding to support local and emerging talent through our Artist-in-Residence Program and Film Grant opportunities. When people come together to engage in art and culture, they foster mutual respect and understanding that builds relationships to strengthen and enrich the Ras Al Khaimah and UAE communities.

    Ras Al Khaimah Art

Ras Al Khaimah Art was established in March 2013 and is the Foundation’s signature arts and culture event annually. The annual Festival is a nonprofit initiative designed to showcase the talent and work of local and international artists, photographers, and filmmakers in a community setting and to support the development of the arts in Ras Al Khaimah. Since 2019, the Festival has presented its fine art, photography, and sculptures as a large-scale, outdoor visual arts exhibition in the recently restored Al Jazeera Al Hamra Heritage Village. Other regular Festival programming includes film screenings, tours, and public art workshops.
