This program places talent development and retention at its core, helping Ras Al Khaimah achieve a comprehensive, multi-faceted approach that emphasises equipping our high potential youth with future-ready skills, fostering leadership capabilities, and integrating professional and personal development with the emirate’s broader socio-economic goals.

Program Structure

L.E.A.D follows a structured, multi-phased approach that provides progressive career development, real-world industry exposure, and leadership training. The program is divided into four key phases, as follows:

Phase A: Candidate Selection
(April - July 2025)

Identify 50 high-potential Emiratis through a rigorous filtering and selection process.Final Selection & Notification – Shortlisted candidates are invited to join the program in September 2025.

Selection process includes:

  • Logical Reasoning Assessments – To gauge problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Psychometric Testing – To assess leadership potential, work preferences, and personality traits.
  • One-Way Interview – To evaluate communication skills and motivation for the program.

Final Selection & Notification – Shortlisted candidates are invited to join the program in September 2025.

Phase B: Foundation Skills
(September 2025 – December 2025)

Equip participants with essential workplace and leadership skills to transition smoothly from university to work environments.

Key Components:

  • Program Kick-Off – Introduction to the L.E.A.D structure, expectations, and learning objectives.
  • Line Manager Coaching – Personalized coaching sessions to integrate learning into real-world work settings.
  • Modular Training (Theme 1) – Foundational skill-building in leadership, communication, project management, and problem-solving.

Phase C: Immersion
(January 2026 – September 2026)

Provide real-world exposure through placements, structured training, and leadership development opportunities.

Selection process includes:

  • Industry Placements/Rotations (3 cycles) – Rotations across government and private sector organizations to gain hands-on experience. Modular Training (Themes 2 & 3) – Advanced learning sessions to deepen sector knowledge and technical expertise. Group Coaching (3 sessions) – Peer-based learning and reflection with experienced facilitators.
  • Masterclasses (2 sessions) – Exclusive workshops with industry leaders on leadership and career development.
  • Capstone Project – A sector-specific challenge that allows participants to showcase problem-solving and strategic thinking.
  • Microlearning Sessions – Short, interactive sessions to enhance professional skills.
  • Graduation Ceremony – Recognizing participant achievements at the conclusion of the immersion phase.

Phase D: Acceleration
(October 2026- March 2027)

Prepare participants for leadership roles through certifications, coaching, and high-impact career experiences.

Selection process includes:

  • Professional Certifications – Participants will obtain globally recognized credentials, such as Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM).
  • Individual Coaching – One-on-one coaching sessions focused on leadership development and career progression.
  • Microlearning (Continued) – Short, practical learning sessions to reinforce core skills.
  • Regional Exposure – Industry networking opportunities, conferences, and visits to leading organizations.
  • Career Mentoring – Personalized career guidance and long-term planning with experienced professionals.

Phase E: Keeping the Momentum
(Ongoing and not in scope- self led.)

Prepare participants for leadership roles through certifications, coaching, and high-impact career experiences.

Selection process includes:

  • Technical Training & Certifications – Self-led learning opportunities tailored to career specializations.
  • Stretch Assignments – Exposure to high-impact projects that broaden leadership experience.
  • Global Exposure – Opportunities to engage in international learning initiatives.
  • Alumni Network & Career Support – Ongoing networking, mentorship, and career development support.
  • Community Service & Job Shadowing – Encouraging social responsibility and continued professional learning.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the L.E.A.D Graduate Development Program (GDP), applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Ras Al Khaimah UAE National.
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Graduated within the past three years from a recognized educational institution.
  • A minimum CGPA of 3.5 and above
  • An IELTS 6.0 or higher.
  • Less than 2 years of full-time work experience.
  • Demonstrated Leadership Potential & Commitment to Career Development.
  • Desire to work in Ras Al Khaimah Government sector during and after program completion.
  • Fully committed to the 18-month program.
  • We welcome internal applicants who meet the above criteria.
